This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of junior administrative positions who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context. Individuals in these employment roles generally work under direct supervision.
Job titles and roles vary across the various industry sectors. Possible titles relevant to this qualification include:
- Clerical Officer
- Records Clerk
- Computer/Data Processing Operator
- Administrative Assistant
- Information Desk Clerk
- Office Junior
There are no prerequisite entry requirements for this qualification; however, completion of Year 10 or equivalent or relevant industry/vocational experience in business related roles is recommended.
